As I tested Clay's 17.5" F4.5 telescope this evening -- I tried an "afocal" shot or two of the Moon.

This image was shot with a TeleVue 27mm Panoptic. It was a bit "hazy" -- but not too bad considering it was a hand-held point-n-shoot camera at the eyepiece.
