Rocker Box for Wyatt's 10" . . .

In the first stages of completion, the Rocker Box for
Wyatt's 10" telescope is coming together.

More on Wyatt's 10" F4.5 . . .

the 10" F4.5 OTA is nearly complete. I just
need to add the Alt Bearings.

The "strings" have been added.

A mirror cover is included with all
my telescopes.

Wyatt's 10" OTA ....

Wyatt's 10" F4.7 OTA components nearly complete. The spider and secondary
are from his Orion XT10. The focuser is a Moonlite.

The mirror board and top ring -- primary mirror cover on.

And the primary mirror cover off!!
The components have 5 coats of varnish to protect the wood.

Carl's 12" in Connecticut . . .

Carl T., from Ridgefield CT. all setup and ready to use
his 12" in a cornfield in Stonington, CT.

Spiders and focusers . . .

With the spiders in place on the 10" and 6" telescopes, the OTA's
are getting closer to completion. Next - the focusers  will be mounted.

6" F8 for Eric and 10" F4.5 for Wyatt-- Continued . . .

Eric's 6" F8 remake continues with the altitude bearings, OTA rings 
and rocker box sides nearly complete. Once completed, the
rocker box sides will be considerably shorter.....

Wyatt's 10" and Eric's 6" mirror cells have been modified to
mount onto my mirror board.

Ventilation holes make for quick cooling.

A 6" F8 for Eric . . .

Eric, in Albuquerque, NM, is having his 6" F8 Parks mirror rebuild
into an ultra-light. Here, the OTA rings include the ETT component as well.

A 10" and 6" OTA ring for comparison. In the upper photo
note the 12" ruler on the lower right. The I.D. of the OTA rings is 8"

More on Wyatt's 10" Telescope . . .

The rocker box for Wyatt's 10" is coming together. Here, the
sides are nearly complete. They are still longer than need and
once the OTA is in "balance", they'll get a lot shorter.

A 10" for Wyatt in Dallas, Texas.

Wyatt will send me his 10" primary mirror and cell, spider/secondary
and focuser for a remake of his Orion XT10. Here the OTA 
rings and alt bearings near completion.

A 16.25" F4.5 Primary Mirror and 18-point Mirror Cell.....

Day's 16.25" F4.5 just returned from the coater with
an enhanced coating and silicone overcoat. Nice!!

The "mask" is used to place the center "donut" in the center
of the mirror.

The "donut" in place.  This makes for easy collimation.

The 18-point flotation mirror cell was built and optimized with Plop.
I give the silicone 48-hours to cure. 

The cell will be "firmly affixed" to the mirror -- yet can be removed if needed.
