Harry's 14.25" Rocker Box . . .

The rocker box for Harry's telescope is taking shape. Here I
use clamps to ensure a good fit and flawless motion. Nice!!

More on Harry's 14.25" . . .



Harry's OTA is pretty much complete. The ETT components
are all in place. Now to add the alt bearings!! Easy....

The mirror  box and lower half of the struts. The struts
are 62.5" in length.

The mirror box, mirror cover with mirror installed.

And, finally, the "intermediate" ring in place.

Now for a Little Clear Weather . . .

With the OTA components completed, I usually test
the "strut length" under the stars. I use adjustable
struts to "fine tune" the strut length.

Now for a clear night -- looks like tonight or tomorrow may be the day!!

The altitude bearings for Harry's 14.25" telescope are pretty
much complete. The width is 2". I'll need to varnish them and

add the Ebonystar. These are 21" in diameter....

The mirror board with cell and upper ring, with spider and focuser
have been pretty much completed.

A 14.25" F4.5 for Harry . . .

Harry's 14.25" strut taking shape. here the spider and
focuser bracket have been mounted.

A very robust Kenneth Novak mirror cell has been modified and
fitted onto the mirror board. Once fully assembled, it a 9-point flotation cell.
