More on a Couple of Rocker Boxes...

More progress on Kevin's rocker box. The
"rotating" tube-rings are all set.

A Pair of Custom Rocker Boxes....

An assembled rocker box for Kevin in St. Louis , MO. and
a rocker box kit for Tyson in Alberta,  Canada. both of these are
10" diameter altitude bearings.
This is an "example" of the rocker box with telescope.

Jim's 12.5" String-Strut Telescope is Complete. . .

Completed with dew shield, Moonlite 2-speed focuser, conical
primary and Sky Commander.


I include a custom fitted mirror cover with each telescope I
build. A focuser baffle is included also.

The DSC stalk and platform. The cable fits up through
the stalk for a clean installation.

Some detail of the mirror cell with conical mirror installed.

Jim's 12.5" Real Close!!!

Very close to completion is Jim's 12.5" "string-strut" telescope. The clamps
on the rear side of the rocker box are for the DSC stalk. Note
the Rigel red-dot finder on the top strut. Nice!!

A 9-Point Flotation Mirror Cell...

"Most" of the components for a 9-point flotation mirror cell
for Ken in Rock Island, Illinois. This is for a round-tube.

Katie's 10" Strut Kit...

Close to completion is a 10" "full" kit for Katie in Little Rock,
Arkansas. That's a nice 10" Starfinder research-grade primary
on a 6-point all aluminum cell.

More on Katie's 10" Strut Kit . . .

The rocker box and altitude bearings are coming together for
Katie's kit. Her high-school astronomy will assemble the kit
as a project. Neat if you ask me!!
Fit is just right!! Now to complete the bottom and
ground board....
