Marc's 16" Strut Telescope . . .

16" F4.5 for Marc. His Swayze Optics refigured mirror
and two finders make for a nice OTA.

A "Pair" of Mirror Boxes for Dave and Marc . . .

A "pair" of mirror boxes. A 10" (L) and 16" (R) for Dave and Marc respectively.
The mirror cover for the 16" is temporary while I finish the custom cover.

Here, Marc's 16" mirror box is pretty much complete. I just need to finish
the dew shield. Note the "hooks" on the top -- for the "string-telescope".

The mirror is a 16" F4.5 refigured by Swayze Optical. Nice!!!

A 10" Conical Mirror for Dave . . .

Dave, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina sent along his 10" Royce Conical.
Here you see it mounted on the mirror board and mirror cell.

Note the mirror cell is NOT larger than the mirror!! Just an optical illusion..

The conical mirror mount with a single 1/2" nylon bolt, spring and nut.
For the 10" size, and smaller, the bolt does not protrude through the mirror surface.
