Just completed is a 16" F4.5 for Joe in Palos Verdes California. The mirror, mirror cell, secondary and spider were from Joe's 16" Lightbridge. The focuser is a Moonlite 2-inch 2-speed Crayford. Yet to be added is a Telrad.

The rear detail of the optical tube assembly. You can see the 27-point flotation mirror cell and cooling fan.

Here's the detail of the top ring. The Telrad is mounted on a short strut just to the right and above the eyepiece. A 2.50# sliding counterweight, just visible at the bottom of the photo, helps keep the tube in balance when changing eyepieces.

The mirror box sitting in the rocker box during assembly. The altitude encoder is affixed to the bearing side.

The azimuth encoder is installed on the rocker box. Joe uses an Argo Navis digital setting circle.
